The most famous of ceramic figural potters in Mexico is the large Aguilar family from Ocotl·n de Morales, Oaxáca. These pieces are hand-formed, single-fired painted earthenware. The family is known for its wealth of regionally dressed pieces carrying on daily tasks observed in their market town.
